Dr. Connel is a board-certified Family Medicine Physician and has been serving patients in North Carolina since 2016. Dr. Connel’s medical care focuses on both chronic disease management and preventative care. Dr. Connel is a lifelong Oklahoma Sooner’s fan and earned both her bachelor’s degree and doctorate of medicine from the University of Oklahoma. She settled in North Carolina after completing a residency in Family Medicine with Self Regional Healthcare in Greenwood, South Carolina.

Dr. Connel has a special interest in preventative medicine which includes focusing on healthy eating, regular exercise, and mental health.
- Patient Care Philosophy
My goal as a primary care provider is to help my patients achieve the best quality of life possible and I believe this can be accomplished through open communication and mutual respect. I am excited for the patient resources available at CommWell Health that include medical, dental, and behavioral healthcare which are all so crucial for overall patient well-being.
- Interest/Hobbies
Dr. Connel enjoys attending sporting events such as University of Oklahoma football games and Carolina Hurricanes hockey games and also enjoy attending local concerts.
