Quality Measures
CommWell Health voluntarily monitors and evaluates its healthcare service performance to measure our adherence to standards of care and operations.
Regulatory and accrediting bodies; such as the Health Resources and Services Administration, The Joint Commission, and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), set these standards. Â
CommWell Health also refers to benchmark data from other healthcare organizations.  Data from these metrics are used to compare our quality of care with other Health Centers and caregivers throughout North Carolina and the nation.
Core Measures are those key clinical indicators that CommWell Health Monitors to ensure we provide the highest quality primary medical, dental, and behavioral health care available.  Core Measures help CommWell Health improve the quality of patient care by focusing on the actual results of care.

Low Birth Weight: Percentage of babies of health center prenatal care patients born whose birth weight was below normal.
National Average: 8.43%
CommWell Health: 6%
Early Entry into Prenatal Care: Percentage of prenatal care patients who entered prenatal care during their first trimester.
National Average: 72%
CommWell Health: 61%
