Dr. Locey has served on the Missions of Mercy Planning Committee of the North Carolina Dental Society. She is a member of the Wake County Dental Society and the American Dental Association.
After graduate school, Dr. Locey lived in the Dominican Republic for two years, while she served in the Peace Corps. There she began participating in medical/dental missions, and discovered her calling for dentistry.
Oral Surgery
Dr. Locey states “I cannot imagine a better job than dentistry. I love improving smiles for patients of all ages. I’m dedicated to improving the dental health of every patient, with an approach that is gentle, compassionate, and thorough”.
Dr. Locey enjoys hiking, camping, jogging, reading, watching theater, and live music performances, playing guitar, writing songs, and spending time with family and friends. She volunteers her time in the community through Wake Smiles, Dentistry from the Heart, Habitat for Humanity, and Missions of Mercy dental clinics.
