CommWell Health uses a medical triage and health education phone service that provides support to our patients after normal business hours, on weekends or when the clinic is closed for holidays or emergency closures e.g weather related. NurseWise’s triage nurses are experienced professionals who have the knowledge to help patients with immediate health concerns make informed decisions. Through accurately identifying callers’ needs, the clinical teams ensures patients are directed to the appropriate level of care for their situation – whether it be providing home care guidance, recommending a visit to Urgent Care or the emergency room.
The after hours triage service does not make appointments. The patients need to call the clinic on the next business day to schedule emergency room follow up appointments or to make a regular appointment.
