Stay Safe : Practice Fireworks Safety This July 4th!

We emphasize the importance of safety when handling fireworks.

Did You Know? 

In 2024, There were 11 reported fireworks-related deaths, most involving misuse and device misfire/malfunctions. An estimated 14,700 people were injured by fireworks last year – an increase of about 38% in deaths and about 52% in injuries. It is crucial to exercise caution as fireworks can pose significant dangers.

Please adhere to the following safety guidelines when using fireworks:

  • Never allow young children to handle fireworks
  • Never hold lighted fireworks in your hands
  • Never use illegal fireworks
  • Never light fireworks indoors
  • Only use them away from people, houses and flammable material
