CommWell Health joins fellow Health Centers across the country to protect health care services for our communities.
Why do we need to advocate?
Because CommWell Health is a Federally-Qualified Health Center, which means each year we receive grant money from the government. Public programs, like Medicaid, also pay us for the health care services we provide to our patients.
The National & State budgets are very important to us because of this funding and more. Without this funding we would not be able to provide health care services to those who need it most.
To continue providing high quality health care in our communities, we need our elected officials to hear from us & know how important the health center is to you and our neighborhoods.
Being a Supporter & Advocate!
Being an Advocate is simple. Sign up to receive Advocate Alert emails by clicking “Become an Advocate”. When you receive an email, just follow the simple steps to make your voice heard.
You may be asked to sign a petition, send an email or letter to an elected official, or even call your Congressperson’s Office. We will let you know when things are happening in the government that will affect your health care & community.
